I'm Lynn, your Denver boudoir photographer

I want you to love yourself more, and a boudoir shoot is an excellent way to start.

boudoir photographer

I opened my Denver boudoir photography studio in 2010 when I discovered that boudoir photo shoots are a powerful step toward self-love  and feeling confident in your body.

Boudoir is my calling.

Boudoir photography is how I change the world one woman at a time by showing her she's a work of art.  I've watched 650+ women transform in front of my camera during the past 9 years. And, I've done 6 boudoir shoots myself so I completely understand how you're feeling right now. And I know how you'll feel about yourself, your sexuality, and your body when you're holding your album: Overjoyed!

I get you.

I've been through a lot, just like you--marriage, childbirth, divorce, counting calories then eating the ice cream anyway, living with teenagers, adult acne, sagging boobs, questioning my entire life over wine, GETTING CALLED MA'AM ... This is a sisterhood, and I will take care of you. Pinkie promise.

You can trust me.

Knowing how to set up my camera, or pose you, or light you is one thing. Knowing how to help you relax when I point my camera at you is another. I've spent hundreds of hours and thousands (and thousands) of dollars honing my craft and elevating my art to the point where I now teach other photographers what I know.

I'm involved in the boudoir photography community as a mentor and as a member of the Association of International Boudoir Photographers. My work has been published in Philosophie, Shutterbug, and F-stoppers, and my photos won multiple awards when I used to care about that stuff.  I run a legit business --licensed and insured, and I pay sales tax.  (This is more important than you might think.)

About me.

I grew up in Aurora, Colorado. I've been married for over a decade to Steve. We met online. It's a funny story--ask me about it when we do your session. I have 2 adult-ish children, one in college and one in the Air Force. We don't see them enough at all.

I love cats and am a senior volunteer at Maxfund No-Kill Animal Shelter. We have 3 cats and ferrets. I love to sing and play the piano, sometimes at the same time. I've been a salsa dancer since 2004. I enjoy cooking -- which sometimes means chopping stuff up, and other times means microwaving an Amy's meal. I try to travel someplace new every year.

I had a 20-year career in nonprofit communications and newspaper journalism before I started my studio. I still do some writing on the side because I'm great at it and now that I don't have to deal with corporate bosses it's fun again. I'm about 15,000 words into a novel. Maybe I'll finish it in the next decade.

What I believe.

  • I believe that what you put out in the world comes back to you, multiplied.

  • I believe in the Mercury Retrograde.

  • I believe that the Parking Prayer works even if you're not religious (say this: Holy Mary full of grace, help me find a parking place!)

  • I believe in magic.

  • Most of all, I believe that women deserve to love themselves just as they are.
